Instagram is brilliant for kids clothing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not adverse to a bit of high street shopping but I’ve found some amazingly bright, beautiful, weird, wonderful and truely individual kids clothing on Instagram.
I’ve also found that a lot of the clothing is made and sold by companies right here in the UK and many of these insta-traders are donating substancial cash from sales to some fantastic causes.
What’s better than splurging money on cool clothes for your kids? Supporting British businesses and some great charities at the same time.
Here are four of my favourite insta-finds…tiny tees for your tiny wees…
(TOP LEFT- CLOCKWISE)
Tease and Totes, Girl Power Kids Tee, £18.00
Tease and Totes are all about inspiring and empowering girls and nothing sums this message up more than their GIRL POWER t-shirt, in aid of the Worldreader charity.
Showing their solidarity with girls across the world, £5 from each sale of the children’s tee (£10 from adult version) goes directly to Worldreader to help them continue their efforts in bringing digital books to every child and her family because via education is empowerment. Girl power indeed.
Bebehound, Eat your veggies tee, £13.99
The newest kid on the children’s clothing block, Bebehound’s owner, Natalie, and her husband started the brand when they were struggling to find much in the way of unique, unisex clothing. They’ve recently expaneded the range to include ‘animal kingdom’ prints featuring possums and squid.
By buying a tee you are not only getting a super comfortable, super cute t-shirt with a great postive message, you are also supporting a small UK brand as they make the tees at their family run printing company in North Yorkshire.
Nor-Folk, Play Hard kids tee, £20.00
“Work Hard, Play Hard”- The ultimate super cool minimal monochrome tee for those kids who love play time. Ideal for a little bit of #twinning with Mum or Dad too as you can buy the “Work Hard” tee to match.
By buying the tee you’ll be supporting a UK brand- The high quality 100% cotton t-shirts are hand crafted to uber-cool brand Nor-Folk’s detailed specification right here in the UK and each garment is screen printed by hand, in Nor-Folk’s home city of Norwich.
Selfish Mother, Pink & Blue Boy tee, £18.00
This is the ideal T-shirt for cute munchkins; a 100% organic cotton pink T-shirt with blue BOY print. Selfish Mother call their new children’s designs #GoodTees, because they not only look good, feel good to wear but they also DO GOOD, too! £5 from the sale of every child’s #GoodTee is donated to KIDS; an ace charity supporting disabled children ages 0-25 in the UK.
